Pigs should have more babies at a time

in the real world, pigs have lots and lots of babies all at the same time. however in this game, you get 1 baby. same as a sheep. pigs should have 2 babies all the time, with a 3rd randomly IMO. oh and where is the baccon.

It's possible that having pigs breed like pigs in RL would result in a massive devaluation of leather and pig related products. Game balance often trumps realism.

On the bacon? +100

Only:
Give me smoking shacks and brine to prepare all my meat in.

Beef Jerky for the win.

And Pemmican.

Pigs really need a shtick. Cows got milk, sheep got (useless) wool, pigs got nothing. Multiple litters would be great, or shorter generations (let's say 3 days pregnancy and 8 days to grow up), or a special resource like lard or something.

I find the only use for pigs is taming practice. They do need some use.

What pigs need is more recipes that take pork and not boar meat, so yeah bacon +a million. More meat recipes in general would be awesome - meat pies, stew, steak, fried chicken...yum.

Yeah, that was part of my point - pigs aren't that useful because there's like one recipe that you can't just use boar instead...if there were more good recipes that required pork, keeping pigs could be worth it.
