Livestock: Shoo command

Postby Phizuol » Wed Oct 27, 2010 7:23 pm

Short and sweet: Add a "Shoo" command to the radial menu of livestock. Upon use the animal will "flee" from you for about 3 squares. The purpose would be to get animals to move out of your way.

Simple and brilliant. I love it!

YEESSSSS, I hate being trapped in a corner of my pen, only to wait about a minute for the damned cows to move in the right direction.

It should not only affect the animal you use it on, but all within 3 tiles of you.

So stand around with sheep all around you and yell out "BLEARRGGGHH!!!" and start waving a stick around, and they'll all run from you. Take a stick and poke at only one of them, and it will be the only one running away while the rest stay put. (I have no idea if this would ACTUALLY work, since i've never been around real sheep... i have heard they're pretty damn stupid though, so maybe neither one would work? )

Why not put both things into the game? Add a shepherd's hook "tool" to the game too, why not? :P Like a farmer's hat, but for milk.

edit: forgot to delete the remnants of an aborted sentence before submitting....

OK, this is a better plan than mine.

Downside is that every additional command clutters the interface.
