stacking would be nice

I did a search, and found nothing on this, which is a bit weird. has there really been no requests regarding this?
Stacking of identical items, like ball clay or blueberries in stacks of ten in each square.
Why not?

It would make it so you could hold too much. Like a large chest could hold 480 blueberries, which would be ridiculous.

I think a weight system for inventories would work better, you can only hold a certain weight of items (the weight determined by str and con?) and each item has a set weight. Would work nice.

I dunno I do hate lists of items and a pure weight based system would lend itself to that. Maybe have both weight and volume? This way you still get to keep inventory tetris but you get to stack items as well and just count the weight.

Ohh I like that.

One example of it being used in another game was in Pristontale if i remember correctly. That was one of my first MMO's, how childish I was.

Already exists for most building materials, they're called construction signs.

Construction signs are a rather awkward workaround imo. Plus no use when one is out exploring.
