Falling tree's

Why do the tree's only fall in one direction?

I think they should be able to fall the oppisite direction that you cut them down so the logs can't get stuck in water or on rocks. And not to waste memory just make it fall north south east or west.

Tell me what you think?

The difficulty is when you are supposed to make a boat out of those logs.

+1

Also, do you think it would be possible to check for logs that are already stuck and remove them? Like checking for hitboxes and logs or something like that? Just a thought, I'm betting there are plenty of logs stuck out there just begging for a mercy kill so they could go to log heaven where there is no axes or saws or nasty hearthlings wielding those :D
