Few ideas...

Postby Butko » Sat Nov 27, 2010 11:54 am

Got some ideas:

-would be interesting to get to addition to meat and intestines from dead animal also some fat. Fat could be use to make butter and grease. Use grease on winepress, cart and everything that spins to increase work speed. Fat should only drop bears, boars and cows.

-nice addition would be also how fat/slim is your char. You get nice bar at top of the screen that shows how much kg your char weight. More you eat and more often you overstuff yourself more kgs will u get over time. More kgs u have u get more % str, const and cha, less you have more agi, int and dex you have. Ofc being fat means you decrease agi, int and dex for same % as u get on other stats. Also being fat your char would move rather % slowly than normal and being slim you would move little faster around and having less stamina drain when running and swimming. In addition to that being slim would make your char work on stuff faster: faster mining, farming, gathering but being fatter would make your char make more damage and be able to move things around and walk instead of crawl. You are strong as an Ox when you reach full fat (around 120kg) and you are slim as a fox when you reach (60kg).

-find gold, silver, copper, tin or iron metal nuggets in river!!! Yes make some goldfinders, make yourself some kind of tool to be able to filter water and walk around in shalow water. Make stuf like digging clay. You filter water there and have 5-20% chance to get random metal nugget there instead of dirt. There should be no nodes and q of metal u get is dependant on some of your stats and skill. For example: survival * psyche or something. Easier tool should be made from linen cloth and wood board, better tool should be made from metal and wood. Easier tool should work slower and drain much more stamina, metal tool should work as shovel when digging clay out of river.

-make taming of animals easier. It's not nice to fight poor beast before you get it. Instead it should be like feeding it. Bring some food, four-clover leaves. Each time you feed animal you have a chance to get some taming points. Equip rope and try to leash animal. If you have 100 taming points you should leash it and animal should turn into tamed one. So basicly that means or you bring a lot of food to get 100 taming points or you bring less and try luck before u get 100 taming points. But meaning that if u have less than 100 taming points there is equal chance to get tamed animal or animal attacks you and knock you out no matter what armor you wear. So that means if I have 40 taming points I have 40% chance to tame animal and 60% to be knocked out. To make things more interesting animal can also refuse food as being too full and instead you might lose some taming points. So feed animal every 2-3 min with one food and u might get some points up.

Just few ideas... now go and spit on them...

The taming works right now your not fighting it at all. Your gaining advantage. Then quell it its not fighting.

Y ofc, but it take fucking too long to tame one simple cow... And taming wild animal is about getting it's trust by feeding it and slowly aproaching it. Whenever u think u can get rope around neck you try and pull animal to your home and into your fence. After some more feeding anima will be totaly tamed. :)

This is both correct, and entirely incorrect. Frankly, I'd like to see taming be more involved than it is, starting with the capture of the animal, and then fully taming it once you have it back at your camp.

Additionally, animals mature, breed, and increase in quality way too fast, but then, so does soil. There needs to be more elements involved in both these processes, and it should have to be a process that needs to be maintained. (Meaning plants and animals can easily decline in quality if not kept properly fed, and plants need to have their soil maintained)

Please read the stickies:

Give your idea a meaningful title
Give threads clear titles so people know what they are before entering them. Vague titles serve little purpose in attracting attention to your idea and make it more difficult for others to find your thread when Searching. If a thread inspires a new idea only loosely related to the initial post, start a new thread to prevent the idea from becoming lost.

Avoid making 'potpourri'
Linked to the above, please avoid making grab bag threads with multiple unrelated suggestions. Give each idea its own thread so posters can discuss its merits, so that ideas aren't overshadowed by more popular ideas, and so that they might be found later using the search tool.
