The Final Solution of Tea Question

Postby OvShit » Sat Nov 27, 2010 6:03 pm

1)Keeping tea in small teapots sucks, as free space is being vasted, and pouring tea from each needs too much clicks to be done.
2)Taking`em with yourself is not also nice as it takes up too much space.
So, I`ve got an idea. What if we`d got an special tea-table - somewhat like regular table, but it can keep an samovar on top of it. Samovar can hold up to 5 litres of tea, which is waaay better than what we have now. Also, you can put up to 25 pies/citroulettes/roach wraps/etc., which can be eaten while drinking tea removing a bit of TW but giving no FEPS.

Containers are containers.. They're going to take up space. This is to discourage carrying everything in your magical backpacks of holding. Space management = Resource management.

and pouring tea from each needs too much clicks to be done.

This, I can agree with. It would be nice if you could right click the mug and, so long as there was tea in your inventory, it would drink from the teapot.

Again, pretty sure this is intended.

This, however, has the foundation of an interesting idea. Except... Tea doesn't remove TW, so I don't see how that fits in. And if you're suggesting a new way, as it stands there are far too many ways to remove Travel Weariness, and the ones that exist are far too efficient at doing so.

However, what I could, potentially, see this doing?

You drink your tea, the tea can only get your LP Bonus to last so long by itself. (Say, 15 minutes at most?)

But if you sit down and drink tea cookies (new baking recipe) at a table set with a teapot, mugs, etc. You can get it up to maybe an hour, and maybe even nudge the bonus up or down based on the qualities of certain elements.

"Ahhh, time to stop for tea. :)"

Yeah, I guess, TW reducing is better left for alcohol. What`s for LP-buffing, it seems pretty nice. But, for the sake of God, don`t let old wraps and blueberry pies to be completely useless - eating only cookies isn`t great.
