Ferryboat, I guess.
Well, if there`d be some force which would pull boat to a player wherever he`s on opposite side that`d be awesome. For example, NPC...ah wait, we have no NPC. So, I guess, it wouldn`t be implemented.

We already have such a thing and it is called a boat. According to the devs rivers are meant as obstacles, that is why swimming is so deadly. It is quite easy to build a boat though and if you want to take stuff like cattle with you over a river just use a raft.

I think it'd be neat if you could attach a raft to a cable, so it stays at the same place and you can pull it to you if it's on the opposite side of the river. Presto, ferry.

A wild griefer appears!
Anyway, I love it. Being free from need to build a boat every two days is great, at least for forest.

I want to things like bridge. I just want to try crossing river.
when encountering river, I must make a boat to cross. it's annoying...
and there is many boat theft. river-crossing by using boat is not good.

If bridges were implemented they would need to cost so many materials as to prevent bridge spam, thus a boat would still be used to cross rivers. If you are having problems with boat theft, keep them on claimed land. Nobody in their right mind would risk leaving a scent for a dang boat.

How about adding kayak or canoe, so we can carry it along travel and use it whenever river appears?

I'm tired of building rowboats whenever I stumble upon another river, which I never expected.

I don't even need 2 seats or 2 cargo hold, but I have to make it again just to cross the water... :x
What a shame, he was a good fish. What a rotten way to be filleted.
