I checked through the thread, i didn't find it.

Well, villages should be able to, using a shared amount of LP/Authority from each village, to make a "Union" sorta thing, the ranks would be like a LS-Chieftan, but with different names, i would think about 150k LP would cover a Union, which would unlock new things:

All the Authority is combined together, so 15000 per ingame day of 3 standard claims without anything on

such as, no authority objects, just claims, would make this 750k authority max.


However though, there would be a union idol, which is 5x5, uses 20k authority per day, and can use different objects to make authority

Flag - Like the banner, but looks more Civilized, and gives 15k authority, drains 1k per ingame day, 90x90 space
Tower - A simple building, which has multiple floors, 3x3 space inside, 3 floors, drains 3k authority per day
W3 - Apolion, Terricieil (old & new), Westedge & Saltmummys other place.
W4 - Quahog
W5 - Yggdrasil (now gone) - New Yggdrasil.

I love the idea of advancing and more complex civilization, but this would allow people to tie satellite villages to their main village, and they could keep the authority up on the satellites that they are using to hoard Q nodes just by playing in their main village on their main character, which I do not love. This would make it too easy to hoard nodes, alternate mines, etc.

Well, as it is now you just have to log on the chief alt of the ressource node, invite your main and voilà. After authing the place up you can switch back. So it is basically only more tedious.

True, but that's all I can really foresee changing with this suggestion. That and more abandoned villages that still have full authority because one of the others in the "union" is still keeping it up. If reaching a higher authority cap is what you are trying to achieve, it's really not that difficult to mass produce banners with even one dedicated farmer.

What I think WOULD be useful would be to have a way to partner with other villages, but instead of combining authority and such, they could have another chat box for the entire union (which might aid large scale wars, even), or maybe fast travel to that village could be a *small* percent less taxing on your TW, or even setting permissions for other villages who might not have black skills to have full privileges on your v-claim.

We should have smaller village claims that are 'subvillages' used mostly for resource spots so that we could simply auth it from our main village without the tedium.

Sure whatever you want to call it :)

Jackard's idea probably has this written somewhere in it, if not a way to 'pledge' your village to another could be added I bet. Intervillage there is nothing atm, and there needs to be.

Yeah, I saw a suggestion that sounds like what you're asking for. I think it was about an authority object that can be placed outside of a claim - would be expensive to make and have a much bigger drain, but it would be connected to your main village. I wouldn't mind that.
