Healthcare reform

Postby Krantarin » Fri Aug 07, 2009 6:31 am

OK, I drank some beer a few weeks ago, and now I'm constantly nagged by my HHP: something like 60/190 . Not nice. And I'm wearing fresh bandages and leeches whenever I'm on, but I'm not on too often, so I'm sticking around the same score...

Solution, you guys?

Play more, drink less beer, stick with the leeches and bandages...

The HHP to STR was well known before you decided to get wasted, don't look to us for sympathy for your hang over. This is why bear bangers are superior

Yeah, I suppose. I still think that there should be a way to get healthier faster. Bedrest? Just leaving myself naked in the swamp?

EDIT: Healers?... I was thinking of something else, but I forgot...

If you were to get summoned while not logged in, and the person did not select an attack, would you simply stand around healing off your bandages and slowly starving?

If it was a friend, they could choose to end combat with you once you had healed. I believe that would desummon you?

It's a poor solution, since it means that to provide healing to someone while they're offline you'd need the skill required for finding criminals, which is a rather unintuitive set-up.

Also, your "healer" wouldn't be able to see your HHP or hunger, so they wouldn't know when to stop.

An ability that allows people to rest, regaining stamina and healing quicker, would probably be a quick fix until more healing items (potions and such) are added.

In fact, you could modify the AFK status to do just this.
