in-game image editor

I think there could be all kinds of great uses for an in-game image editor (something to create small bitmap or png images):
  • create your own market signs
  • create banners/flags
  • create unique statues
  • decorate your wagon
  • grafiti

Ragnarok Online style, villages having flags, flags show up next to your own village mates in place of the arrow. You can choose to show it everywhere (so if you're in a war you proudly show who you are with, or so you avoid disputes with allies, whatever).

This is what I'd love to see. Simple 16x32 PNG file with transparent background via that horrid magenta color.

The rest would also be very nice, a different kind of wagon, a flag off the side of our horses (when we get them), banners actually marked ingame as your village, same with statues (oh hell yeah :^) )

Personal coats of arms would be neat, especially if they showed on party/aggro icons instead of the portraits.

I thought it might have been suggested, but I think it could use it's own thread.

This would be pretty sweet and I think it would be interesting to see villages hiring artists (or seeing crude penis villages everywhere).

If I die again, I'd love if it was for writing "Danno wuz here" on someone's palisade.

Any chance we can pay ahead? I'd love to be in the line for this now.

+1, the idea, it's excellent.

Of course, I want to be able to do this with rugs, tapestries, clothes would be amazing. (though not much detail on a sprite that size).

And tapestries would hang on our walls in the houses... (What's that? No walls? Wrong thread! Suggested elsewhere I'm sure!)
