I mean really, why hasn't this been thought of before?

going to go ahead and take this opportunity to make a few suggestions for future C&I threads:

1. be specific! suggesting a metal axe is rather silly, since the battleaxe of the twelfth bay already exists.
2. offer some supporting information, in this instance, maybe suggest what the difference would be between the stone axe and the proposed new metal axe.
3. keep in mind that this is an alpha. flavor elements can be added later.

Probably to 'chop faster' but we all knew that already.

Yeah, I mean a small tomahawk like axe made from casting metal.

May make chopping faster, can double wield. Stone axe, but metal.

Plus the metal axe would be easier to control its Q than a stone axe.

i don't really think that chopping needs to be faster. and considering that you get stones of the same quality as your metal when you smelt ore... i don't see how it would be any easier to control its Q.

I'd rather have tomahawks, or just the ability to toss current axes, only small ones. No tossing a B12, but stone axes? Sure why the hell not. Allow us to bind them together (iwth fibres) in 3in a pack per slot, and toss them babies. Aim should be kinda like a sling, damage should be maybe a little less?
