Turtles

I like them, and we need them.

They would spawn near rivers, lakes, and swamps. When digging on the edge of any of these terrain bodies you would have a low chance of finding a turtle egg. Upon death, a turtle would provide a single turtle meat, one bone, and one turtle shell. The meat would give 1 CHA and 1 PSY. The egg can be cooked for 1 PSY. The shell can be used as jewelry. Also, as a hat.

They are non-hostile like other small creatures (excluding the demonic ants). One in one thousand turtle spawns will spawn a giant turtle which is usually just under the surface of the water and may swim up and devour the player traversing a swamp, or at least bite off a toe. They give an additional meat, bone, and a giant turtle shell. The meat provides 2 PSY and 1 CHA. Giant turtle shell jewerly provides 1 CHA and 1 PSY.

Discuss.

I'd rather see gameplay improvements before stuff improvements, and a million people will probably tell you to leave FEP assigning up to the dev (with which I agree), but....

i like turtles i have red eared turtles and i love the idea of them in the game :D
BUT... i think there are other things that are needed first like.......a use for the toad.
why are they called toads they look more like frogs to me? i say rename them then you can eat the legs. yum
let us all take a moment remember and honor trisby, the true desident of Tris, who was last seen in all white walking into a river with her beloved sledgehammer in her hands. May she find honor and glory in the next life

I used to have sliders too. yellow bellied though, not red eared. Turtles are okay, ducks are better.

Never heard about turtles, living in wild in nothern Europe/nothern-eastern Europe, and western part of Russia. this game takes place in German and Slavic mythological surrounding.

Since when is the setting limited to northern Europe? AFAIK it's areas of Europe that are culturally Germanic or Slavic, and there's turtles aplenty in the mostly Slavic Balkans.

What do you both mean by "gameplay?" Turtles add gameplay. Gives you more to do and additional options. If you'd like, the devs could also allow you to tie your backhairs together to make a rope to ride the giant turtle as a water transportation option.

changes or additions to the actual mechanics of the game. adding turtles doesn't change or add any mechanics, it just adds more stuff.
