Wood pile?

How about something you could build for wood storage, able to build it outside on paved stone tile, can be one for everything or different ones. Would be able to hold so many logs, blocks of wood, branches, or boards? I think that would be nice so I don't have to keep running a mile away from my place to get something. I know I could use chests or the sort, but they can't hold that many or logs at all.
Also, I searched and didn't see another thread about this. If there is, sorry.

i dont think there is a thread, but there is a trick

construction signs stay untill someone builds it, someone destroys it or someone takes out all the building material. Basically, find something not too small, not too big that holds a lot of material, put as much stuff in as you want to and make very sure none of your friends decides to build it. There you go, instant materials storage
