Lp for taming

So I've been thinking, you tame a cow for about an hour or so, it keeps turning the wrong gender. To make it not a waste of time let taming an animal give you lp.

Why not, triple what you get from killing it seems fair IMO considering the time you waste.

We should be able to see the sex after the first quelling in my opinion.
Also, Tamed animals could start with slightly randomized stats (maybe within the range of a normal generation), so that you might just get a better bull than the one you have if you tame it after all.

Make it so you can... you know, spend a little time with them. Satisfy those primal urges.

But yeah, all the above ideas would be wonderful. It would make hearthlings even more anxious knowing that they'll get some hard-earned LP.

3x their LP amount is fair. After we do have to tame them 5 times which in 20 tamining points itself is a lot longer than killing them.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

5x their LP amount would be even more fair then, because one taming attempt costs about as much time as you need to kill them. Well okay, a skilled fighter can kill two in the time someone acquires 20 taming points, but you know what I mean. 20 taming points aka one quelling should give you the amount of LP you'd get for killing that animal.

no, because killing works only once, and after an animal is tamed you gain all the benefits of having that tamed animal. You should keep in mind additional benefits aside from immediate benefits. Milking a cow, making cheese, breeding cows for better milk/leather... it all adds up, and something similar counts for sheep, while after a kill you can skin, butcher and collect bones. you can make leather and cook the meat, make stuff with the bones and then its finished. So I wouldnt say you need the extra time balanced with extra lp, but some lp would be reasonable

If you plant wheat you get LP and the chance of: harvest = LP -> flour = LP-> bread dough = LP -> bake = LP and that's only an example. Almost every ingame action gives you LP even if it's the first step on a production chain, why don't give LP when tamming since it's the most tedious and time consuming possible action?
