Lift Cart to pull it

Pretty basic request: When you attempt to "Lift" a cart, you will instead begin to "Pull Cart". If you "Lift" it again you will stop pulling the cart. Remove the flower menu and instead right clicking a cart will always open it.

Reasoning: Heavy use of the cart is a lot of clicking, and indeed a lot of mis-clicking like opening the cart instead of pulling it. Lifting may be confusing the first time you use a cart, but I think it would simplify it's use greatly.

ACTUALLY:

With the current system:

1 click to flower menu
1 click to pull

2 clicks total

With your system:

1 click to "adventurer" menu
1 click to lift
1 click to pull cart

3 clicks total


With practise, you will never mis-click.
The current way uses less clicks, therefore it is better.

If you haven't put Lift in your hotkeys yet I feel sorry for you. That's not being mean, I seriously think about how awful the game must be for you.

Lift was the very first thing I put in my hotkey bar, probably within the first 20 minutes of playing! :lol:

I like this idea, but I've noticed myself that during times of heavy cart loading and unloading, I'll inadvertently try to lift my cart instead of right-click and pull it. So obviously I'm biased about it as my own natural tendencies would be compatible with this idea, but it does seem to be a natural interface adaptation, has anyone else ever done that with their carts?

*likes* but on the other hand, the flower menu style can only be one click, b/c 1 click for flower menu. *presses 1* done.

I sure as hell agree, it pisses me off to do it the current way. Otherwise there should be Lift = "Lift or Pull" skill or there is a new "Ride/Pull" skill for wagons/carts, and clicking them now defaults to opening. It's a pain in the ass the current way especially because one is "1" for open, and the other is "2" for open, let's get some goddamn protocol here.

Yes, this. I like the flower menu in general, but the option order is really wierd on a lot of things; like drinking and fluid containers. Some consistancy would be nice.
