Dead Or Alive?

How do we know if people are dead? because u could have a buddy that could of been killed because u never know and we need to have somthing on a person avtar on game to say they are dead like a skull to show if they are dead or not or a leaf to show they are alive

I'm in a fickle about this one. I like the unknowing if someone is alive, but I really want to clear my kin list of dead people.

maybe if you see their dead body it updates their portrait to a dead person?
