Role Play server/area/something

A means of separating (even if just by distance) 'lol 1337 my MM is over 9000!' type players from 'I could shoot off an ant's antenna from six hundred metres!' type players.

A role playing area basically, ideally a server (not happening).

No idea if the community has many people interested in a role playing style of play though.

Note: I have nothing against any style of play. People have fun how they have fun.

just get your own village and use village chat. not that hard and happened already

I think it's important that everyone plays in the same world, and I think the devs feel the same way.

I wouldn't argue with some kind of roleplaying area though, it's fun.
Perhaps, we could brickwall off a SG, and RP it out there.

But what happens when "Steve the Roleplayer" who's been role-playing a serial murderer decides he is done with his silly virtual act and decides to do a lil' OOC-esque killing? Its scenarios like that which makes it so we can't have nice things.

I don't see much point in officially designating an area for it or whatever. I think it would be better to add more useless items/features that can be used for roleplaying purposes if desired. For example, the coins we can make... they're far from being a universally accepted currency, or even being considered a currency at all. There could be other little things that have no benefit regarding efficiency/LP/quality of useful things... Like more clothing options or being able to press a key to make your character raise an arm as if "waving". Or some other forced roleplay if possible (e.g. this game has no "trade window"; a person can easily steal your things and attempt to run off in a trade).

Setting yourself up far from the main villages and building a palisade pretty much ensures you won't be bothered if you just wanted to roleplay with the current features available.

we've been roleplaying King Arthur's Knights, in quest of searching for a Holy Grenade. Some ppl took part in that playing, some were to dumb
and paid the price for being stupid with their asses being used as a pincushion.
