Would be neat, actually, some kind of leather/wood 2x2 contraption for storing lures and bait or spare hooks and other finicky fisherman items...

Indeed, it would be nice to be able to cram a bunch in a small inventory space like with seeds/seedbags. Perhaps boats should also have some accessible storage while you're riding to put fish into. It wouldn't make much sense to go out into the lake with 100 earthworms if you could only hold 20 fish.

Get a few nuggets of tin and shove those worms into a can.
