Slings shouldn't damage them.

Also they should swim.

Slings, no.

I kind of agree with swimming bears :P

But then, bears should be more inclined to run away from noise in the forest than attack indiscriminately.

Why should a sling harm a bear? Especially as much as it does at some point.

A bow is just as easy to use at a certain point in MM, I think this way it just prevents a baby blue eyes hearthling from boating up with their low q sling and pegging away at a bear to get all the basic skills and some points in stats with one kill.

The toughest animal in-game should not be allowed to be killed by such a primitive weapon.

As for swimming, if you attack a bear, it should be able to chase you. Even over water. Of course now someone will say "But what about village idols, bears r 2 hard 2 be killed!!" Well I assume people would just attack, and run away, or run in to a house until it de-agro's. At least this way you lose a lot of the LP for not being strong enough to kill it properly, but you still gain the material goods for your efforts.

You ever been stoned before? (not hemp, rocks...)
Getting hit by a rock hurts, especially from a sling, and will hurt even a bear. Hit 'em enough times and I'm sure you'll kill 'em.

The toughest animal in the game shouldn't be these babyshit bears, and should take multiple people to kill and be tweaked until there's NO way to kill them without a party.

And if a bear's onscreen while you're fishing, it will go through and completely empty the entire fucking river.

Well, if you had the strength of a f'ing Jet-plane crashing into someone I am pretty sure you would say otherwise in relation to killing bears with a slingshot.

annnnd. if I read this before posting my thread I probably wouldn't have posted it as I mentioned also that bears should swim. It's somewhat logical and is realistic.
