Walking speed while carrying a liftable object.

You should be able to choose between walking speed and crawling speed while carrying something, walking speed draining more stamina than sprinting speed normally does.

Maybe varying depending on the object/object size? Like maybe being able to go walking speed with a torchpost (without drain), allowing walking with a chest (with stamina drain), but not allowing walking with a boat on your head?

So every 30 Strength your able to go at 1 speed higher, to a max of running speed (small containers, corpses)?
Maybe also include a 1000LP skill for "Endurance" that enables you to move more efficiently while carrying heavy loads...
A skill should offer more, so...

Provides better stamina limits when running and sprinting.
So rather than running and forced to walk at a 60% stamina, you can go till 50% stamina.
Sprinting allows you to sprint until your at 50% stamina.

Carrying
Default:
No skills = Crawling speed always
With skills + <30 Str = walking speed (small containers, corpses), crawling speed (big containers, big corpses, logs, rocks, boats). Has stamina drain on large objects.
With skills + >30 Str = running speed (small containers, corpses), walking speed (big containers, big corpses, logs, rocks, boats). No stamina drain.

It'd be nice to be able to lift and walk faster at better strengths, but just 30? A bit low.

Maybe 500 str for every step up? :P

I'm all for the better stamina limits, why not let me ABLE to but give me a reason why it's bad that I can then put off with effort? For example you 'can' but it'll make you hungrier faster and/or debuff some of your stats, like wine. Or... OR... have a way to raise the cap on stamina.

500 str is a bit much even with the best of the best FEP!

30/50 Str is what I'd think is fair for all players, not those who are super high leveled.

Maybe it can have multiple level of Str for different effects:

30+ = You get lighter for small objects, slightly better stamina use with running and sprinting.

50+ = you get lighter for large objects, slightly better stamina use overall.

80+ = you get lighter for all objects, much better stamina use overall.

150+ = you can lift objects as light as a feather, being able to run with it too! (uses up stamina!)

250+ = you don't bother with lifting objects, it's so light you only need to "think" it's lifted! Sprinting with an object is possible! (Still uses stamina!)

500+ = Your a superhuman! Sprinting with an object uses 2/3 the stamina it would use! Crawling, walking, and running uses no stamina!

Lets face it, by the time you have 500+ strength, you might as well be able to one hit almost everything, including bears. By the time you grind to 500 str, you'd at least get 200+ unarmed.

To counter the ease of use, lets make it drain hunger A LOT, by calculating the stamina your suppose to lose normally without the skill, you lose half that amount for hunger.

Say if your suppose to lose 10% stamina (without skill) and you have the skill learned, you'd lose 5% hunger.

Well I don't really see many people with that high of a strength in the first place, so maybe most of the features are introduced at the first half, and gets boosted on the 2nd half?
