Little Advisor

(First off, if this has been done - I'm sorry. Second on, if this is in the wrong place, you may spank me)

Little Advisor is a spreadsheet that helps me remember my quality limits and gives me general information that is typically hidden (manual calculation excluded)

What it is:
Nothing complicated, but rather a compilation of all the formulas I could find on the wiki.

For example:
-Highest possible quality of a sewing craft item
-Exploration score for foragables
-What quality boards will be with your current equipment and stats
-What range your rustroot will cover

And so forth.

It's arranged in a relatively friendly layout (almost certainly will change as I merge and split groups etc), that hopefully points you away from fiddling with formulas by accident.

What I'm doing now:
Aside from adding more of the formulas, it's probable that I'll move on to other areas of statistics and help.

Combat help will be a definite if I can either a) get some experience in actually killing shit or b) find someone who does.

Information boxes such as a possible foragables list, highlighting when all are visible, for over 50% are visible, and for under 50% and black/grey for no chance.

What I'm hoping:
This could be a great tool for those without knowledge or will to use the wiki, but also, a good way to put some of the information on the wiki to the test. I'm pretty sure everyone and their mother's have read something wrong in there. But most of all, it's going to save me a handy parcel of time and sanity. Hope it proves as useful to some of you.

Better still, this could inspire someone to enhance or even create their own alternate client. A man can dream.

Why I've posted this without the actual spreadsheet:
I wanted to test the water first. There's a possibility that this'll go down really badly in a "He's tainting the game! He's spoon feeding the noobs!" sort of way, so I figured I would get some feedback beforehand.

That and the fact that it's still quite skeletal. Not really ready for anyone else to use comfortably yet.

Any thoughts on this as a concept? Good or bad, fire away.

Some people are just naturally nice. I should know, I have two of them rotting under my bed.

I would recommend trying to get hold of Dataslycer for some combat guidance. He and DatOneGuy are both machines in the formulas department of most anything the game has to offer... they may not wish to share their hard work and knowledge with just anyone though, but you can try.

Shoot me a PM and we'll talk.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.
