Imprisonment

I played a space themed game that was quite similar to this, and they had kidnapping andimprisonment. You could actually KO and lock up a player against his will. I think this would go great in H&H.

Department of Corrections

Postby Seppuku » Mon Jan 24, 2011 11:25 pm

Has anyone ever tried to form a working prison system? Incarceration would have to be on a volunteer basis of course, but perhaps first time offenders and non violent criminals would go peacefully rather than facing death. A Time/Crime system would have to be implemented, and checks and balances to make sure that the prisoners were not being neglected or abused. Prisoners could even shave off some of their time with good behavior by producing goods, or working in the fields of the institution.
If some of the bigger Ranger Clans would be interested in something like this I would like to start brainstorming with them.

already been suggested before...

and before pretty much it was shot down because it would be impossible with the current way things work....
for instance someone could just return to their hearthfire.
If the return to hearthfire feature is ever removed; I would love to see this implemented as well as long as there is a way to get out...
Which could be using an alt to come break your main char free.

Cannot begin to tell you how many times... and I still rate it right up there with one of the worst ideas ever. No access to my toon, I quit playing, the end. If you want to punish me, come and fucking get me... that's how it should be and that's how it is right now... I'm quite happy this way.

EDIT: Beat me to it Sab.

I don't mean for this to be a in game system. If you don't want to go to jail just resist arrest and go down fighting. If you want to keep your character alive because you're not just some griefer, and you made a mistake then this may be something you would be interested in. While people are in jail they would be provided with things they can do. I wouldn't want to just sit in a cell all day either. Who would? This is a shot at roleplaying, and forming a bit more of a functional society with other consequences besides death.

I would find it hard to find anyone that would stand to be locked up like animals in a game where they are suppose to be having fun.
