rice

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

rice

A new crop that can be grown in swampy areas only!

Possible fep could be:
1con
1per

This could lead to many new food recipes.

maybe including some food recipe that reduces the wait time for personal beliefs (halving the wait time).

I know, rice doesnt fit in an european game, but it would make swamps a realy interesting location and encourage trade.

Rice = Eastern/Mid Asia...
Haven and Hearth = Northern Europe...

I see a problem here...
And yes they have added things that ain't European (Tobacco for example) but that was due to some other reason...

I'm pretty sure Pioneer wagons aren't European, but they're cool and were added. Rice would be cool to add too, as a swamp crop. :)

Um....... Pioneer wagons were built by European Settlers in America, and also where do you think they got the idea for them from, oh yeah, back in their old home, Europe...

But now that I think about it, it would be interesting to see a crop growing inside a swamp like that, Swamps, Thickets and The other kinda swamp (the greeny one over the purple) are pretty much unused except as Leach Baths, and even then most people just take a leach covering home with them afterwards...

Well if anything, I would think they would be pulling ideas from European Orientated history and culture...
Rice no matter how you spin it, is Asia orientated...

I don't know. Rice and tea go pretty well together.
