exp for taming animals

Can we get some exp for taming animals?

it takes quite along time and you get absolutly nothing for it, especially if you get a billion males (got 5 in a row).

Err the main purpose of taming is getting a female and a male. If you're getting only males then you're unlucky. It's not supposed to be an lp-giving lavor but more of a must-do if you want to be able to make your own milk and high q beef.

I thought about it too. Taming must give some exp. It is harder then killing an animal, or harvesting crop. It takes a lot of time and some skills from char and its owner but has no 100% chance to get a female and a male.

I would say that 3-4 times the killing lp would be reasonable.

ya. your probably taming like 2 cows and stopping. its my intention to tame 10 females. Do you know how long thats going to take? maybe more than a day. and i will get absolutly no exp during that entire time.

Sounds reasonable. We do get LP from filling tubs and pots, then why we don`t have LP for taming?

I agree with the OP here ALOT.

Taming (without using exploits...) is extremely dangerous for most characters. I wont even talk about the stupid amount of time it takes to do it, because someone would probably point out that it should take days. But really, yeah, each time you get some 'tameness' you should get the LP for defeating the creature in combat, as that is, essentially, what you've done.

You do get LP for slaughtering the animals after you've tamed them, but really, if you were jus gonna do that, then you wasted a lot of time taming them!

I'd say double the LP of killing. Anyone could tame if they knew how. You figure, Full sliders to peaceful/change is 360%, you get like 3.7k LP from a boar's death. 3x would be like 11k. That's quite a bit for a pig :| . Though you would only get like 3k from Cows and Sheep. Eh, the LP would just be a bonus anyways.
