Viticulture

So I'm a little bit of a wine-lover, and I love that wine can be made in game, for obvious reasons. I think it'd be kinda cool if different segments of the map had different "climates" which would influence the different varieties of wine grapes which could be grown (offer different FEPs, I'm thinking). It's not a complete idea yet, but what do y'all think?

Yes, "climates" in general have been suggested, but that's not the main point as i see it. A more complex viticulture system could easily be implemented using the various terrain types in the game, with different varietals giving different FEP types or stat bonuses depending on where the grape was grown. So a whole new climate system would not be necessary to get OP's idea off the ground.

.... but then again, there have been may wine-making threads as well, so.... yeah. :P

Regionality (fucked if I know if that's even a word), been hammering on it since I can recall.

There was a thread(check for it in archives) about tieing different grape types to different terrains. Maybe you should bump that one?
