So, I know this has more then likely been suggested countless times, but every person that says it is another person, and then more likely to be considered.
I was thinking, we have wooden palisades and brick walls. how about stonewalls?
Between the strength of palisade and brick wall (as that makes sense, seeing as stone is stronger then wood but weaker in construction then brick),
the gate would require something like wrought iron, or at the very least cast iron (rather then steel)
maybe bone-glue for the corners too?
something like:
STARTING Corner-post:
500 stone (maybe more)
5 bone glue (seems reasonable)
Wall piece:
10, 15 or 20 stone
further corner-posts:
250 stone
2 bone glue
Gate:
350 stone
5 or 10 cast/wrought iron
I mean, the gates could be bronze, but I wouldn't think anything less then a full on bronze bar.
I mean, maybe even higher costs in stone? seeing as stone is so easy to get.
I know that palisades take 626 strength bare hand to destroy, so maybe a stone wall could be 750-800?
(or they could require a battering ram to destroy. but due to the ease of building, I think it'd best to be able to stone-wall bash)
