I've only played a little but, but HnH seems very interesting and I'd like to put some time into it. But everybody being White is really creepy. Surely getting some brown faces in there is as simple as recolouring a handful of sprites and adding an NPC to that starting room?

the game is based on nordic/russian mythology.non-white people wouldn't fit in the setting.if you want brown people because you are political corret moralist, get the fuck out.if you are brown yourself: see it like roleplaying.I don't get mad if I can't play a white person ind GTA: San Andreas or if I( a german) can't play my nation in most WW2 shooters

The game is not actually set in Northern Europe, is it? It's a world created by players based on the mythology. What element of mythology is it exactly that depends on or affects skin colour? I'm sure there's other differences that make the world both look and feel different from the inspiration.

Perhaps you can describe to me a little better how your experience will really be effected by a few brown faces?

Currently people kill each other for speaking a different language or being born somewhere else. If sprites had different hairstyles or skin colours there would be race crusades. Do you want to be responsible for that madness?

You can't put brown characters in your game because your playerbase is so racist that they'll villify them?

imagine a white person would write "all those blacks are creepy" in a game set in, lets say pre-colonial africa....


well the world doesn't look like africa, does it?and for a fact, it is based on northern/russian mythology.so a brown face would destroy the atmosphere, just like a penis paved in the ground etc

why the do you want to play a brown person anyway?whats the point?

A fictional world loosely inspired by Slavic and Germanic myth and legend is the description. It is not a deeply historically based game, as San Andreas and World War II based games are.

The creepy thing is when someone builds a high fantasy world for people the whole world over to play and doesn't give non whites a role to play in it. It hardly compares to the situation you described.

So I guess that makes me what you'd call politically correct. Shall we have a nice democratic vote as to whether or not this means I'm not welcome here and should GTFO?
