Your position on the world map

I thought it would be a good idea to incorporate the world map into the UI
so, maybe you click on the minimap and it'll open up a window with a view of the world map and where you are on it?

It might be hard to do as it is always changing, but I think it would be a very handy feature.

(I searched for the topic before posting but didn't find any results- sorry if someone else has suggested this, they probably have, but I think its worth the post.)

In all seriousness, this has been suggested before. I understand that the eventual goal is to have player-made maps as an in-game commodity. Plus, the world map will be infinite, so showing all of it will be a bit of a thorny technical problem that I think would take the devs at least a few weeks to figure out.
