Capturing Claims.

Postby Humps » Sat Aug 29, 2009 6:20 pm

Claim posts start with 10k base HP.

They have a base melee of 30. No matter players str, every hit does 10 damage.

Every in game week, an additional 500 hp is added/regenerated.

Claims cannot be attacked while a hearthfire exists on a claim.

Attacking a claim leaves a vandalism scent.

Once the claim post is destroyed, the claim vanishes, and the LP used to make it is reimbursed to the claim's creator.

Bullet proof.

How about just having claims vanish when the owner dies, giving the LP to that ancestral line.
Surprise.

Because if someone does not log on for weeks, there is no way to remove their claim.

Because if they do not leave a scent, you cannot summon them.

That is why you need to be able to capture them.

That's not quite true... All you need to do is create 4 alts, grind them up to get yeomanry, get one lawspeaking, collect a SHITLOAD of resources, build a village totem, then have the lawspeaker alt remove the claim... It's simple!

Of course then you've got a village totem you can't get rid of, but it's pretty and gives light
