I was at full health, 134. After they knocked me out, they actually left for a second then came back to finish me off before I got up.

That's odd, something similar happened to me, they continued attacking after I was KOed. Thankfully, they stopped, and I survived to tell my tale.

Raiding an anthill without the skills to defend yourself from ants shouldn't be riskless.

Think of lag as tripping and falling

It is a bit frustrating to suddenly get a horribly long period of lag while being pursued by ants, although I've never actually gone unconscious from them. Only had more or less my entire SHP depleted and my shoes eaten. Twice.

The lagg gods deem you favorable and safe then. The lagg gods do not favor me but the bear gods deem that I might live and feast upon them even when the lagg gods attempt to slay me. Use your powers wisely.
