Ability to take dead ancestor's curios.

Postby Sordo » Thu Mar 17, 2011 6:05 am

Well recently with the death of my main (Strange aurochs lol), I found out I couldn't claim my curios from my dead ancestor, I had some decent stuff for lp that I can't get back, they're replaceable but they were close to being done which sucks :(

Sooo, yeah. Claim dead ancestor's curios.

They're in their brain. Doesn't make much sense.

Yea we need incentives to Murder people for LP, getting their current Curios is the LEAST we should get.

P.S. Still want to cut out their Hearts for a High level Curio, quality equals players Constitution -10 (preventing Alt murder Exploits).

setting is slavogermanic, not mesoamerican. why would they introduce a mechanic that results in human sacrifice?

Hmm, what about enabling players to inspect and loot a skull off of skeletons, and use them as a curiosity?
Forensic styled LP gain?

Otherwise people could just murder and keep a cupboard full of skulls (for who knows what reason).

Murderers can't take full advantage of this because:
1) They gotta stay near the corpse until the body is decayed, and doing so enables rangers to spot them easily.

2) Taking a skull off of any skeleton counts as acts against the dead, causing a vandalism scent to appear.

If we do get body parts as curiosities, I think ears would be best.

Do you have just a general problem?

It was not uncommon to take peoples heads, to stake them or send them back to whomever, so skulls is not so farfetched. id like to be able to make a crate of the skulls of some rading party and send them back. Or heads in a wickerbasket.

To get the skulls you need to cook the severd head (true)
