I propose a feature is added to inform you if someone you're chatting with has recently sent a message. That is, when someone messages you, unless you have the chat tab open, you won't KNOW they messaged you. If yo could make it flash yellow and red when there was a PM it'd be much easier to talk with people since you'd actually know they were talking.
