Right, here I am going to put a collection of my various ideas, some of which may be considered worthless, and some may be worthlessly considered!

Small Ideas / Requests

Dragons
Please, to god, don't use dragons just as monsters. Make them giant godly figures, to whom our mortal abilities are worth nothing. Maybe a smaller draconic variety would work, like lindworms or wyrms. ( And, yes, I do understand they're the same thing, but it's nice to have a bit of clarification and a wide variety of draconic creatures. )

Items Not Affected By Quality
It'd be nice to have certain low level items not affected by quality, as a way of allowing new players to get into the market. Don't make them particularly hard to get for anyone, just hard to get in bulk.

Gems In Mines
There should be pockets of gems in mines, with more gems in less useful mines, I.E. copper would have far more gems than an iron mine. And this could continue if we ever gained some ridiculous magic metal mines, or whatever.

Raptors
Yes, those Jurassic Park style raptors. I personally think that, if we ever get a rainforest-esque terrain ( probably in deep wilderness ) then these would be a beautiful and dangerous addition to that. Especially if we got some style of ability to train and use mounts. I AM THE RAPTOR BANDITO.

Second / Family Names
The ability to take up a family name, or join a family, would be a brilliant thing, methinks. Especially if it carried on to any descendants of your character, as this would be a way of following a person's character progression, especially useful if they were a criminal. Someone could probably expand upon the idea of a family involving multiple players, including bonuses based on a family's speciality, or some such.

Sorry to have to say this, but the only idea I endorse would be the Family names... And then it would be a pain to implement properly, as it could be used to grief players if done wrong.

Honestly, I am a bit tired of Dragons... They seem to be in most RPG's in one way or another.

The no quality items would not help new players. If they can make it, and so can old players... Well, there would be no reason to trade for it. Would not do the effect you wish it to. Quality and scarcity are what makes items worth trading for.

Gems, I disagree with. Only because of the fact that mines are already a limited resource, and having that limited resource become more limited for an item with no practical use...

Raptors... Seriously? How do they fit into the game?

Dragons, I know, but I'm 90% certain that they're going to be implemented as I'm requesting they not be.

If the items were needed in bulk, or had to have puzzles done to get them or something similar to that, that might work. Just something to allow new players to get into the market.

Gems could be required for SOMETHING, I'm just suggesting a method to allow smaller towns to trade with larger ones for goods. Smaller / less important towns, anyway.

Raptors? They don't, but are still awesome.

Give each idea its own thread so posters can discuss its merits and they arent overshadowed by more popular ideas. Give threads clear titles so people know what they are before entering them. Also, use the search tool to see if there are existing threads with similar ideas, which you can either borrow ideas from or necro if they haven't played themselves out yet.

If a suggestion is too small to have its own thread, it's probably not worth suggesting.
