Hay i hate looters and yeomany costs way to much for beginers could someone lower the price and higher the lp for tresspacing to stop it happeing to loads of begginers. By the way this has happened to loads of my mates. =[

It doesn't get much cheaper than Yeomanry. Will take a new character a couple of hours (2,3...no idea) to get it if he is dedicated enough.

Trespassing you on the other hand think is too cheap then? In what relation is this? Also you need theft and for some things also vandalism to loot someones plot. Put together that is many, many times the cost that Yeomanry is. What you need is proper security in the form of at least a palisade. A claim will do nothing to protect you.

Hide your items better. Live in inconspicuous locations, don't pave ground or terraform too much. You can live in a leanto for quite awhile actually.

I know its frustrating, especially with having rabbit skins stolen when you're scriping and saving to get a backpack, but you can get through it.

Explore, travel, spread around. If you keep getting robbed in one spot, try making a little camp somewhere else. Maybe have a couple of camps around, if they aren't noticeable on the map it's not likely that they will be griefed, unless the population in that area is especially high.

I waited until I had a claim up before working on self-improvements, such as backpacks and other articles. The materials for which is easy enough to stockpile on your person. Just using stomped dirt as a foundation helped keep a low profile too. Stuff on a claim just don't seem to decay so whatevs.

My suggestion is to gather up those mates you speak of and form a village for mutual protection. Then build a big wall.

See the "How Do I?" section of the forums and read the beginner's guides at the top.

If your not ready for a palisade yet. A claimed round-pole fence without a gate will help a bit in keeping the occasional wannabe trespasser, looter or your general mischief characters out. (Bashing a claimed fence takes at least a vandalism scent ... not sure if it also takes more skills to do so compared to just walking trough a fence-gate and picking up some stuff ...)
