Either A) Increase regen rates. Atm they're rediculous. I should have to log out for three days just to get back to %0 That's stupid. I want to play H&H

or B) Remove the new system. It's great, but it was done with the shittiest execution possible. I mean...I really am about to give up. I can't DO SHIT. Because I'm spending so much time traveling. THat's fuckign retarded. I'll go stat grind on my runescape charecter. Which is really fuckign retarded. Put it back in after we have some form of trading in bulk. I.E. BOATS

Yeah it might sound like i'm just pissed about the same shit but I'm not. It's the regen rates that are killing this system. not to mention the lack of mass transit. Teleporting in the old system was bad. The new system just isn't worth playing. The odl system is the lesser of two evils atm till you can work out a balanced math on the regen so we can actually have some form of commerce going on in this game...or just remove it till boat come in. Even then...when you put it back in....You still want to fix regen rates....cuz this shit is gay.

I'm currently stuck in bumfuck nowhere and I can't travel back to my village so there's just no point to playing right now.

I agree that travel weariness is a bit extreme.

J&L did say high quality matters, so I'm willing to be patient until I can try uberbeds. I also appreciate very much the "feature" of preventing HH addiction =p.

But it seems some tweaking could be nice. As I've said before, why shouldn't agi (or con, possibly) determine regen rate instead of distance limit?

You know you could have posted this statement on the existing thread, but anyway...

... there is a case to be made that some of you have lucked out. You've built camps all across the place, your relevant locations are spread out miles apart, and now you can't really travel between them in a good way. To some extent, this might be as it should be. When building a new camp you'll obviously be able to keep this dimension of the game in mind, and not settle at unreasonable distances. You could consider this broken, but we cannot allow development to institutionalize bad practices just to keep the status quo. Sometimes, the status quo has to be broken for the game to move forward. Obviously that will hurt for some people. I think this is why we still call it an alpha.

People are getting squeezed. New constraints exist that didn't exist before. This hurts a lot of people. Doesn't mean its wrong from a larger standpoint though. Yes, people probably are, and will quit over this. Well, what of it? Spend some time with your family. Get some fresh air. The game will still be here when you inevitably come back.

I say it's not up to the devs to fix or remove this, it's up to us to improve our infrastructure. Warping back and forth was lame, now you have to put effort into travelling. It's not like they removed the ability to walk.
I do however agree that we need food to fix weariness.

THis has Jack shit to do with 'constraints' It doesn't MATTER where you live. It doesn't MATTER AT ALL. You cna't GO ANYWHERE after you've spent your travel bar. Those uf us out in BFE are bitching now. You sitting right in the frey probably never travel very far. BTW Good luck getting product from the mine fo yours out in BFE. THe closer people are to RoB, the slower they'll spend that bar.

No, I AGREE!!! Warpign back and forth WAS LAME. And ahving to put effort into travelling IS AWESOME. I just don't want to spend TWO HOURS walking HALF A SUPERGRID. I feel bad for peeps out in the western supergrid......with no way back. They'll be trhe first to go imho.

Check what was promised. IIRC, food wearieness means travelling costs less, it's like an AGI buff. It doesn't give you any weariness back. Atm....other than Logging out an not playing for a week. You'll never see travel weariness.


ALL WE NEED IS A FIX TO THE REGEN SYSTEM TO MAKE RECOUP FEASABLE WITHOUT NOT PLAYING FOR A WEEK.

No you're supposed to walk. Travelling is a new way to quickly move from A to B. I agree that there need to be other ways to regenerate weariness but if you settled far out it's up to you to deal with it, because you knew they were working on something to make it harder for you.
Nowhere does it say you need to build crossroad networks to enable fast travel to outer regions.

Instead of blaming this update, try suggesting things to compensate for this problem. Like the warehouse trading idea, or trade over mail.
