Being able to ignore people in the global channel

Postby Howlingnorth » Sun Oct 30, 2011 10:24 pm

It was come to my attention that while having a normal conversation someone suddenly starts spamming for half an hour with 1 letter every half a second so none can see whos typing what. Its become really annoying. Perhaps also implement a daycare for these children starved enough for attention to spam this channel all day.

So a Flotsam walks into a bar.
The Bartender says "What are you here for?"
And the Flotsam says "Nothing, I'm just Curios."

Should probably just ask Ender to code it. He's more likely to have it in his client before anyone decides it's necessary for general use.

But global chat isn't an Ender's feature; it's just put into the usual chatbox instead of the floating window in the default client.

Yes, I realize this. Doesn't mean somebody can't modify it. Thus, my statement still stands.
