NPC Guards/Army/Mercenaries

The ability to purchase/hire guards would be great, so you could recruit small armies, and guards to defend your areas, guard dogs would also be kl :D

I was thinking about this the other day, you could get guards for your village and you would have to feed them and make their equipment.
Was Lawspeaker of Macomb in W2.

There's a lot of controversy in that. A lot of players don't want any NPCs at all.
On the other hand, it's REALLY difficult to protect your property.

I'd say, just taming animals and traps would do it.
