Pick Mulberry/Apple Cycle

Postby warrri » Thu Oct 01, 2009 9:59 pm

Ever after the mapreset i wondered why pick mulberry or apple isnt cycled like take branch. Im very dependant on these fruits atm when i go hunting or mining, and it is very annoying to pickup like 50 mulberry when youre at 50% hunger. So why isnt there a cycle?

i'm not saying there shouldn't be "pick an entire inventory full of apples" or just "eat apples until i'm full" option on the tree, i'm just saying that they are of little benefit as they give no FEPs. i only eat apples or mulberries in extreme desperation.

I think Mulberries/Apples/cherries/blackberries etc. should have a small chance of giving a FEP point - 1/20, raising to 1/10 with quality or something with diminishing returns as quality rises. That way it would be at least a little worthwhile to eat them. Might make it too easy to macro "though" stats, though?

Yea makroing stats would be very easy, make a Eat, plow, drink, makro and you get your 10 points per night or such. Dont need FEP, just a pickup cycle to make it less annoying, pleeeeeeeeeease.

I believe they haven't made it cycle because they intend on making it a limited resource and want to discourage you from eating them exclusively.

I don't really agree with that though, I think the lack of FEP is discouragement enough, and before they're properly set up noobs have a real struggle to produce enough food to appease their insane metabolism.

I prefer raw meat over apples. Less clicky. Something should be done, but, meh.

Well its nothing critical or gameplay changing, just adds a little comfort.
And i dont think its that hard to change it codewise :p
