Dexterity

it should affect marksmanship like strength affect unarmed and melee, seeming as dexterity is hand-eye co-ordination and increase damage of arrows, better way to get damage up instead of getting quality up

I believe this has been suggested before, but with Perception in lieu of dexterity.

IMO Perception should share with the Marksmanship in determining ranged weapon hit rate, while Dexterity (or Dexterity AND Marksmanship) governs ranged damage.

Anyone who has actually used a bow will tell you more about strength then dexterity.

I have used a bow and it's more about strength, although I guess agility and dexterity would matter for shooting faster. I think the muscles used are different from those use for lifting/hitting things, however.

I own and use a bow quite often. It is more about strength for distance, and your perception for accuracy. You need dexterity to fire faster, as it is hard to rapidly draw an arrow from your quiver. So strength should let you attack things farther away, perception should raise the total damage, and dexterity should make you fire faster.

This exactly. STR Affects range (and damage along with marksman), PER affects accuracy, Dex affects speed
