I think a new skill should let you domesticate animals. A few new wild animals would be added, such as a wolf. You could capture these special animals, and they wouldn't disappear once caught, unless released before it knows your smell. You could make a pen at your place and put the animal in it, feeding it and giving it water, just taking care of it. By right clicking it you could see it's stats, such as how much it loves you, and if it knows your scent. Also, if near your hearth, it could learn to find your hearth when lost. Once it knows your scent, you could let it out, and it would hunt for itself, and always come back unless killed. By looking at it's stats you could also see it's domestication level, a wild animal is 0, a fully domesticated one at 100. To raise the level of this, take care of it and feed it, but that is the slow way. f you have a male and female, the female might give birth and inherit the combined domestication levels of it parents divided by two, plus 10. But when the pet gets more domesticated it gets worse at hunting. To make it less domesticated, you let it gets it's own food, and the level will slowly drop. For a pet on the farm, 50 is ideal. Thoughts on this?
