few problems ruinning game

Postby GrayKarl » Mon Feb 06, 2012 4:07 pm

I assure these have been suggested, but would like to write again with my poor english skills

1. resource monopoly

-once initiate group took over node, there are no chance for later groups(improving equipQs and tradings ETC.
later groups might be sweated for small pieces of HQ resource, like working on 10K bricks or 2cupboards of pearls as return

so the people who late arent fun at high end competition(becoz they cant win) or other lots of contents that game has

bigger grid cant solve this problem completely.

2. absence of siege system

till scent-ranging system make people to build brickwall(castle), and ram there must be way for working it out.
I really, rarely heard about success of destroy brickwall and summon kill, except wall jumping, in vault kill history is clueless...

Im very depressing about it. maybe 6hour or 8hour ram maybe good?
or brickwall could be bashable but soaking every damages to 1 and having 24*60*60HP?(so if one man want to destroy brickwall took 24hours and endless waters and effort)

for the eternal(long enough to enjoy few generations, I guess its the ultimate goal of MMOgame) remaining of game, internal flow is required like best, and highest level could be dead and lost, and newborn ass could be highest one. I think HnH opened new field of it with sqrt system and fep system. hope this game will be nicer with variable new systems, NPCs dungeons, stories, peoples.

thanks for reading

While I share your frustration in coming late into the world and not being able to scout high end natural resources for myself, to modify that element making it easier for all to find resources would be to change an integral part of the game. This game revolves around the constant pursuit to be better, become more powerful, look sexier and win more chicks. Why? So we can either defend our resources, trade for better resources, or go on the offensive to gain the resources claimed by others. Making natural resources more available to everyone would diminish motivation for both trading and PvP.

While the siege system has been topic of many threads and the devs will (hopefully) rework it completely, the ressource nodes and the monopolies are indeed a problem. In a perfect game those nodes should be the main goal factions fight over.

The way nodes work would have to be changed then though as well as the way they can be found. As Avu mentioned often enough this game of trial and error (or now botting) is rather annoying. I have made a suggestion about fluctuating qualities of nodes in a side note before, but that wasn't very well fleshed out. Would at least give people with a node the chance to have good quality one day too.

Even better probably to have the option to raise the q of the node by working on it, nourishing it in whatever way etc. Include some sqrt formula there too and people will have the chance to eventaully reach the highest qualities without the ones with the top qualities always being ahead no matter what as long as they take care of their node too. One could even remove the natural regeneration entirely then I guess making it a minigame itself to weigh the pros and cons on "harvesting" a ressource.

Luckily, You cant protect Water clay, and you can Very easily get some 60QL clay that way,, also its very easy to find 60QL water, Soil is everywere.

People Ram all the time,
Literaly anything in this game you want, you have acess to, If your to lazy to search for your own stuff, just go pearling and buy it.

Or make bricks.

I actually posted something more along the lines of randomization of spots. The last part has been suggested in this or other forms by people like Potjeh before and I have come to the conclusion now that I like that better too.

I doubt you played enough for see through basis of this game,

at first building a ram isnt ramming, second you can protect water, clay. third 60Qs arent resource, they are poops.
as i mentioned this is MMO game, and there should be kindness for later starter. its not about lazyness

You can protect both water and ball clay if you feel like spending a whole dick ton of steel and wrought iron for CRs.
