Maybe because there's a thousand more important things to implement than some superficial looks for what is effectively a homogenous genetic profile from a small section of northern Europe?

hairdo has been implemented once, only for a short while.

jorb hair, loftar hair, kaka hair(helm?), bold, even some beard too. only for men though.
*edit* actually female char did have a choice of either the current one or bold

Whilst i agree its not realy important on the grand scale of things, i for one wish you had some choice in hair design, lol.
The female chars hair is the worst i've ever seen in games - i hate it.
