Bridges.

I would enjoy bridges in the game, so I don't have to use boats or rafts all the time. Possibly slowly damage them by walking on them?

Not possible with the current game engine and this has been suggested well over 300 times now.

I don't understand why its not possible. Just make them drawbridges that work like palisade gates, except its for boats.

From my understanding, because the game is two dimensional and the way that the engine is designed, bridges are not possible. The Devs have outright stated that they are not something that can be done with the current engine. When the new engine is released they might be an option, they might not be, I don't know.
