Overall, I like the worship update. However, the update currently favours the (probably most common) type of inflated strength/martial skills characters. Other, more balanced characters, will not get to carry over the strengths of the ancestor when their (non-martial) character dies. My worry/suggested solution scetch for the near future development is twofold:
* First: make all attributes fineally find a tangible use - below are some suggestions.
Strength: already has a number of uses
Agility: already have a use in travelling
Constitution: Already have uses in HHP and swimming
Intelligence: make intelligence take the place of Perception to see quality (on objects as well as items)
Perception: already have some uses, but we have been told Perception will have a role in ranged combat
Charisma: Charisma could play an important part in a characters ability to tame and breed animals
Dexterity: already has important uses in crafting
Psyche: already has important uses in crafting
*Second: Once all attributes have their uses, it would be nice to let offspring characters inherit other aspects of ancestors than marial skills, some ideas below:
Wisdom of Woland:
For 15 minutes, a character gains the Strength and Smithing of one ancestor, or 20% of the ancestor Str. and Smi, in addition to their own if their own stats are higher.
Urðr on your Shouldr
