There are times when I'd like to be able to login and play without all my kin noticing, and promptly starting 5 conversations and 3 parties I don't mind if they see my avatar, and start a face to face conversation - it's dealing with multiple remote conversations that gets to me. So how about a way to login without being visible to one's kin?
