Laying Bricks In Caves

I noticed that paving with stones is possible in caves, yet not paving with bricks. Would be fun to be able to lay bricks inside caves or mines too. Would be great to decorate those dull underground cities, and I've also always wanted to make colour coded roads for easier cave navigating. Would be especially useful when you live in a cave system that takes you an hour to go trough, and got like 100 different tunnels.

If it's not possible it should be. However have you tried paving first then laying bricks?

Both not working - shows the sandclock but no brick got layed neither on cave floor nor on already paved cave floor - brick still in Inventary

Doesn't work with gold either . Tried it in world 5 with the bit of gold i had and was pretty heart broken when i couldn't pave gold in ainran.

He's talking about laying brick tiles for decoration, not walls. You can still lay stone to make the walls as far as i know.
