Cart

Cart is useful tool if you wanna move things around. But it's so slow... I think that it would be easier to do if another player could "push" cart from behind and it would go just a bit faster.
thx.

Carts move based on what terrain type you're moving on and what you're carrying. On roads and grasslands carts move at Run speed. If you are lifting an object while driving a cart then you're reduced to crawl speed no matter what. They're pretty darn fast if you're not trying to navigate them through forests.

Carts haul balls on paved terrain. Upgrade your infrastructure among high cart-traffic routes. Even just packing the dirt is a noticeable improvement through forests.

Even in forest terrain, if you plan your route right, it's still a great way to move a lot of stuff.

Even through forrest carts are excelent. Cart + boat is 6 items at crawl speed.

for hauling wood I usually use an alt with a cart on follow, and me with a boat.

Until I had a wagon setup for lumber hauling this is pretty much exclusively how I moved lumber. That and chopping one log up and stuffing it into my inventory.
