Shops

Postby MadAlice » Thu Oct 29, 2009 1:59 pm

I've been reading through all the suggestions and see that shops are on the list. Would it be possible to provide a second claim - a shopclaim, so that shops don't have to be set up on someone's personal claim? Perhaps there should be a few areas set up that are restricted to shopclaims so that people can quicktravel to them. I can't see people wanting to travel 45 mins or more out to a remote and possibly dangerous area to visit a shop.

A decent method for a shop and trade to exist in H&H is this.

A person places items in baskets or chests inside a "shop" area. and when they place items within that area they can assign a value of coins. A player wanting to take the item without stealing it would give the amount in coins into the basket to replace it. After that the item belongs to that player.

This would make it so trade would be more efficient and would justify a new skill to learn.
