Farming ideas

This thread will not just be about my idea but many ideas from everyone else. To help keep concepts organized.

My suggestion is to have farming and tilling fields affect the quality of the area. Very slow growth based primarily on perception attribute, and a bit of plow quality, crop quality, and farming skill.

PS. Quality of the area = Quality of the dirt etc.

I too, would like the ability to fertilize my own fields.

Not to get into TMI or anything, but herbivore dung makes better fertilizer than ominivore dung, and is less likely to have unwanted side effects.

Once we have animal domestication, the cow and sheep pens really should provide material for improving/fertilizing fields.

When that is added a new metalworking item should also be implemented. The shovel. :D
