Candelabrum

These need to not burn out and require a candle in construction.
While people will scream realism and other bullshit, the fact is no one builds these for anything but a cool decoration that will get lit once or twice and then totally ignored.
They either need to burn forever or burn for multiple days, otherwise this is just another wasted feature people will ignore.

That would make them much more worth building.
I've only built about 3 of them on this map, and even then I've only lit them each once or twice.

I agree with this.

In fact, I've never even seen a candelabrum in-game.

I had a few villagers that would log out when it went dark, just cause they couldn't see...
So I said build fires and work then, they did. Then they burned out quickly...

I dragged a Miner to the Nearby Tin Mine, got them to make me some Bars, made Candelabrum...
Hijacked all the sheep, wool and yarn I could find, and made a shit ton of candles. Put them near the Holders and said. There use those...
No one did...

The other day they came on during the dark time, and had a whinge, so I grabbed a candle and stuck it into the hold and lit it, then produced to carry it to them. They said thanks. And stayed on and did the work they were doing before...

The next day...
"Its too dark to see, I am gonna log out..."

OH FOR!!!

I sort of agree.

good first step, yea

viewtopic.php?p=30851#p30851

i prefer the first method - currently all lightsources die out simply too quickly. ive had campfires burn out while i was still in the middle of lighting campfires. id say let candles burn a week or forever

Support, at the very least make them long term. (3 days to a week IRL)
